Flexibility
Flexibility refers to the ability of your joints to move through a full range of motion. Having flexibility in your muscles allows for more movement around the joints and that means:
-Better posture
-Less muscle tension and soreness
-Reduced risk of injury
-More relaxation for the mind and body
The best way to improve your flexibility is to simply exercise and stretch. By exercising you're preventing the muscles from keep stiff, allowing them to expand and contract, giving them more elasticity. Stretching helps this just as much as exercise does which is why there's an emphasis on stretching before and after exercising; too keep your muscles from locking up and staying stiff.
Here's a great video demonstrating different types of stretches that will help improve your flexibility.
